Endurance Announces Graham Evans to Head New International Insurance Platform

PEMBROKE, Bermuda - October 7, 2013 - Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd.
(NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty
insurance and reinsurance, today announced that Graham Evans will be joining the
company as Executive Vice President and Head of International Insurance to build
a new international insurance platform offering multi-line capabilities. Mr.
Evans has more than 25 years experience in the London market where he has
demonstrated his ability to build and grow underwriting operations across Europe
and Asia. He will join Endurance on November 7, 2013 and will be based in
London.
Jack Kuhn, Chief Executive Officer of Global Insurance, commented, "Graham has

Mr. Evans joins Endurance from Axis Capital, where as President, Professional
Lines, he built their international professional lines business across multiple
products. Prior to that, Mr. Evans held a number of underwriting and management
positions including Chief Underwriting Officer for European Financial Lines at
CNA Europe Ltd., Director of a start-up Lloyd's operation, and manager of an
international Professional Lines book at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
