Twin Town Treatment Centers of Southern California to Be Honored During October's National Disability Employment Awareness Month
(firmenpresse) - LOS ALAMITOS, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/08/13 -- Key representatives from Twin Town Treatment Centers, Inc., a successful six-location outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility based in Los Alamitos, Calif., are being recognized with two special awards in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month during a special ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m., at the center's headquarters. The awards are being presented by the Disabled Student Services of Cal State University, Long Beach, directed by David Sanfilippo.
The award will be presented to Twin Town Treatment Centers for achieving excellence in the following areas:
expanding the company's horizons in employment,
seeing beyond disabilities in its hiring practices,
better serving the disabled population and clients with disabilities by making its treatment centers accessible, as the opportunities become available, and
challenging individuals with disabilities to make the most of their abilities.
Scheduled to accept the award are Twin Town Treatment Centers executives , president and CEO; , chief financial officer; , human resources director; and , program administrator.
Receiving the award is the entire counseling department staff of the Twin Town Treatment Center's Los Alamitos branch for their extraordinary efforts to guide individuals with disabilities toward reaching for and achieving steadily increasing goals. The award will be accepted by , senior counselor for the company's Los Alamitos location.
Both awards are sponsored by Disabled Student Services at CSULB.
Twin Town Treatment Centers, Inc. is a State of California Board of Drug and Alcohol Recovery certified Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Treatment Center. The centers work with St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, Tri-Cities Regional Medical Center in Hawaiian Gardens and Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos, Calif., which offers in-patient detoxification treatment to provide on-site assessments for those progressing into their outpatient treatment program.
