Volkswagen Partners with Ringette Canada
Touareg SUV provided for 50th anniversary roadshow
(firmenpresse) - AJAX, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/10/13 -- Volkswagen Canada is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Ringette Canada for its upcoming 50th anniversary roadshow. Volkswagen has provided Ringette Canada with a Touareg SUV, which will be used primarily for a 30-day, 15 city roadshow which begins on October 16th in Charlottetown, PEI.
The Ringette Roadshow Powered by Volkswagen will travel across the country hosting a variety of events. All tour stops will include appearances by mascots Samantha Belle and Junior Jacks; a skills event; a Come Try Ringette session; a Ringette Activation Festival (including target shooting, trivia and prizes) and a locally tailored ringette event that the rest of the country can tune in and watch via webcast. Locations where a National Ringette League team exists will also feature a regular season home game.

"The Touareg that Volkswagen has provided is completely decked out with ringette decals and when we roll into town, everyone will know that the ringette roadshow has arrived."
