Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Takes Place in Downtown Austin on Oct. 20
(firmenpresse) - AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/13 -- The , whose mission is to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now, is hosting its popular annual benefit, the Team LIVEChallenge, on Sun., Oct. 20 in the heart of downtown Austin at Auditorium Shores. The Challenge is a that includes 20-, 45-, 65- and 100-mile options for cyclists of all experience and fitness levels.

Registration is open for the Team LIVE Challenge Austin online at and onsite at the LIVE Village at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Rd.), Fri-Sun., Oct. 18-20. Keeping with the tradition of all Team LIVE Challenge events, the Foundation is hosting a free post-event party for riders and spectators at Auditorium Shores.
The Austin event marks the culmination of the 2013 Team LIVE Challenge, which traveled to Davis, Calif. and Philadelphia earlier this year. The Team LIVE Challenge is the organization's popular three-part series in Team LIVE's roster of more than 20 athletic events designed to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation's mission. Since 1997, Team LIVE has raised more than $80 million.
