German Federal Cartel Office approves B. Braun's application to increase
interest in Rhön-Klinikum AG to 25% and above / B. Braun's shareholding in
Rhön now nearly 11%
Melsungen, 15. October 2013. The German Federal Cartel Office has approved
B. Braun's application to increase its shareholding in Rhön-Klinikum AG to
25% and above. B. Braun has announced that it has now increased its share
in Rhön-Klinikum AG to nearly 11%.
B. Braun continues to pursue its strategic goal to sustainably secure its
minority shareholding in this private clinic chain.
In addition, B. Braun has filed a court petition to replace two recently,
by resignation, vacated Supervisory Board seats of Rhön with nominees
submitted by B. Braun. The Melsungen-based medtech and pharma manufacturer
has yet to receive a decision in this matter.
