University of Oklahoma, University of Maryland, and Boston College Are First in College Athletics to Adopt Loyalty Program With Integrated Paciolan Ticketing, Fundraising and Attendance Data

(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA and MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/13 -- Paciolan, a leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions in college athletics, today announced that the company has entered into a partnership with Row27 Studios (Row27), a digital creative agency and provider of technological services for sports teams. In conjunction with Row27, Paciolan will offer clients a rich fan and student loyalty program that rewards customer activity and engagement with their brand. With the integration of Paciolan data, FanMaker Rewards will track Paciolan attendance data, ticket scans, season ticket purchases, and fundraising donations to help each institution increase attendance and revenue, and drive lifetime fan loyalty. The program also tracks interactions with the official university social media accounts to reward fans based on engagement.

"We are excited to partner with Row27 to amplify their already powerful loyalty program," said Craig Ricks, Vice President of Marketing at Paciolan. "By tracking social engagement along with ticket purchases, donations, and more importantly, attendance, there is an opportunity to influence fan and student behavior and reward them for attendance and online interactions with experiential prizes."

The University of Oklahoma, University of Maryland and Boston College are the first in college athletics to implement the loyalty program with integrated Paciolan data. FanMaker Rewards allows universities to integrate Paciolan ticketing, fundraising and scanning data (based on tRes, tFund and Access Management software) to track every interaction with their brand. Along with the Paciolan data, FanMaker Rewards tracks social data from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Foursquare and GetGlue.

Fans are encouraged to create an account and connect their university ticketing account, as well as their social media accounts to start earning redeemable points. The program allows universities to more deeply engage with their fans, who are able to view their point totals and see how they compare to other program participants on the leaderboards, and in turn redeem their points for prizes, contests, merchandise and unique "money can't buy" experiences. FanMaker Rewards is also optimized for mobile devices on iPhone and Android platforms.

"We are excited to be an early adopter of the Paciolan integration with Row27's FanMaker Rewards," said Charlie Taylor, Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing at the University of Oklahoma. "Being able to utilize Sooner Rewards to highlight featured events, increase overall attendance and amplify our content online is a valuable asset we use toward building fan loyalty with Sooner Athletics."

The platform offers schools the ability to deploy push marketing campaigns to engage fans, and remarket to them with opportunities to earn more points and redeem them for unique prizes. The University of Oklahoma is leveraging this capability to build their FanMaker database.

"Paciolan's integration with Row27 provides us with a distinctive platform to increase attendance and build lifetime fan loyalty by enhancing brand engagement and improving retention benefits for our season ticket holders and donors," said Nick Lofaro, Associate Athletics Director of Marketing and Sponsor Services at the University of Maryland. "We now have a solution to reach our devoted fans through our MRewards program and reward them for promoting our brand and attending events."

The FanMaker Rewards program enables schools to engage both the general public and student groups, allowing them to create programs to reward behavior based on business objectives.

"FanMaker Rewards provides us with an evolving opportunity to engage with our student population and reward them for attending our events and interacting with us online," said Jamie DiLorento, Associate Athletics Director of External Operations at Boston College. "The ability to integrate Paciolan's access scanning data enhances BC Eagles Rewards and allows us to build a program that increases attendance at all Boston College events and motivates our students to stay engaged."

Adding ticketing, marketing and fundraising data from Paciolan is a new feature for the FanMaker platform. It allows for the My Account portion of the FanMaker platform to surface not only all purchase and attendance information, including both conference and non-conference events, but also builds a social profile for each fan.

"Partnering with Paciolan provides us with an opportunity to offer an expanded FanMaker Rewards program," said Jason Cole, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Row27 Studios. "We are excited to join the industry leader in college athletics to help deliver a robust fan loyalty program that integrates Paciolan data and assists universities build lifetime loyalty from their dedicated fans."
