(PresseBox) - To conduct the trade fairs TECHTEXTIL and TEXPROCESS simultaneously at the same location was considered by PFAFF INDUSTRIAL a great strategic solution. The PFAFF presence, with main emphasis on innovative sewing and welding solutions in the areas of classical wear, jeans, function- and safety wear, leisure wear, as well as technical textiles, was fully successful. On the eve of the start of the convention, over 100 dealers from almost 40 countries were attuned during a dealer conference at the Moevenpick Hotel in Frankfurt. During each day of the fair, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL experienced superior high volume customer visits at the stand. In addition to customer visits from main and eastern Europe, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL was delighted to greet customers and information seekers from overseas as well.
One of the main focus during the convention was the presentation of a complete series of NC-controlled (from small to large field) computer stitchers. In the future, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL is herewith able to offer solutions in the premium segment for all possible tacking and stitching applications.
A few new products or product enhancements out of the POWERLINE series were also presented in Frankfurt. For example, a new sleeve setting machine, a two-needle special seamer (with compound feed) and an new lockstitch button sewing machine - in the POWERLINE design.
In the welding area, hot wedge and hot air solutions, as well as ultrasonic welding machines were exhibited. Especially in this segment, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL is extremely flexible to react and offer solutions to the latest customer requests and materials. For example, the PFAFF 8320 is offered in 3 arm versions (cylinder post, vertical post, swivel post) with an arm length from 498-968 mm, depending on customer request.
On 23.05.2011, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL was presented the "TEXPROCESS INNOVATION AWARD" at an official ceremony conducted by MESSE FRANKFURT. With this award, the host praised the superior engineering qualities of the docu-seam system PFAFF 3721.
