(firmenpresse) - RIDGELAND, MISSISSIPPI -- (Marketwired) -- 10/23/13 -- FRANCHISE SERVICES OF NORTH AMERICA INC. ("FSNA" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: FSN) announces that William N. Plamondon has resigned as a director of the Company due to personal and business reasons. Mr. Plamondon will remain President of the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Advantage Rent A Car ("Advantage"). FSNA would like to thank Mr. Plamondon for his contribution to the Company as a director.

The Rent-A-Wreck® system has been in continuous operation in Canada since 1976.
