The First Nation Community of Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg is concerned for the safety of Laura and Nicole. Laura Spence is a Kitigan Zibi First Nation young mother of children. Nicole Whiteduck is also a young mother from the First Nation community of Barriere Lake but resides in the Kitigan Zibi community.

The two aboriginal women were last seen in the community Sunday, October 20, 2013. There has been no contact with family or friends since that date.

Both Laura Spence and Nicole Whiteduck are 31 years of age. When last seen both women were together and they were driving a 2003 Chevrolet Venture, brown in colour, plate number M50 DKM.

Laura Spence is 174 cm tall or 5'8" weighs 68 kg or 150 lbs. and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Nicole Whiteduck is 165 cm tall or 5'5", weighs 82 kg or 181 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes. Nicole also has a butterfly tattoo on her left shoulder and a tattoo of a heart with "mom" written on it on her left arm.

The Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Community is an Anishinabe (Algonquin) community located 130 km's north of Ottawa in the territory called Quebec.
