A truck driver acting on his own initiative recently saved a man from what could have been a serious car accident on Interstate 80 in Nebraska.

The truck driver followed proper safety procedures in helping a motorist who had experienced a serious accident and may have saved the man’s life. The accident occurred as Mr. Martin observed a driver in a car ahead of him swerve out of control and hit a metal railing. The car rolled across the interstate and came to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle. The driver was pinned inside the car with the door wedged against the ground.
