Rolls-Royce welcomes Pistonheads Sunday Service
(PresseBox) - The Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood in West Sussex was the venue for the third annual PistonHeads Sunday Service on Sunday 24th July. Over 400 classic, sports and super cars were displayed on the lawns surrounding the company's head office and manufacturing plant, 100 more than in 2010. For the first time, the cars were complemented by motor bikes, with 70 members of the Riders Association of Triumph (Washington Rat Pack) joining the event on their bikes.
After enjoying a now legendary 'Rolls-Royce Sunday Service Breakfast Bap', many of the guests took the opportunity to tour the Rolls-Royce factory to get a behind the scenes look at the ultra-luxury manufacturer's unique facilities. Attendees generously donated over £3,000 to the company's house charity, The Luke Cory Trust.
"We were delighted to welcome PistonHeads back to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and extend a warm greeting to the Riders Association of Triumph (Washington Rat Pack) for the first time," said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive of Rolls?Royce Motor Cars. "We were graced with exceptional weather thatattracted an intriguing mix of beautiful and unusual cars and motorbikes." He continued, "I am overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests - my sincere thanks to everyone who donated to our house charity - and I look forward to welcoming PistonHeads back again in 2012."
