SEVEN INSEAD FACULTY MEMBERS AMONG FINALISTS FOR THINKERS50 AWARDS 2013
Prestigious biennial honour recognises world's best thought leadership in
management and innovation
Fontainebleau (France), Singapore and Abu Dhabi - November 6, 2013: Seven
faculty members from INSEAD, the leading international business school, have
been shortlisted for the 2013 Thinkers50 Awards. The biennial competition
honours the world's best minds in management, leadership and innovation, global
solutions and future thinking and also includes an award for best book. INSEAD's
professors have been shortlisted for six of the seven distinguished achievement
awards on offer.
Dubbed the 'Oscars' of the management world and launched in 2001, the Thinkers50

business school, exemplifying INSEAD's diverse global offering. Overall, the
school's faculty members come from approximately 34 countries, mirroring a
diverse student cohort composed of more than 80 nationalities in any given year.
Recently-appointed Dean of INSEAD, Ilian Mihov, said: "To be recognised by this
prestigious management and leadership ranking is a huge accolade for our
nominated faculty members, each outstanding in their own right. Beyond the
individual achievement, to have so many of our faculty nominated and for so many
individual distinguished achievement awards is testament to INSEAD's global
reputation."
The shortlist includes some 70 thinkers, from which the final Thinkers50
