MPLX LP Announces Retirement of President Garry L. Peiffer

FINDLAY, Ohio, Nov. 15, 2013 - Garry L. Peiffer, president, MPLX LP (NYSE:
MPLX), has announced his intention to retire effective Jan. 1, 2014.
Mr. Peiffer was named to his current position in 2012. He also serves on the
board of directors for MPLX. Mr. Peiffer will continue in his capacity as a
director.

by Marathon Petroleum Corporation to own, operate, develop and acquire pipelines
and other midstream assets related to the transportation and storage of crude
