Honors CMOs at the 2013 CMO Awards Dinner

(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 11/15/13 -- An elite group of over 60 CMOs along with key industry leaders gathered at New York City's The Upper Crust on November 12 to attend the inaugural , hosted by The CMO Club (). At the event, twenty-three CMOs were recognized for outstanding achievement in 6 dynamic categories, and one "CMO's Choice" winner was announced per category based on CMO Club member voting. Stephen Quinn, CMO of Walmart, was also honored as the Club's first inductee into the .
Prior to the Awards Dinner, 18 winners, including Stephen Quinn, participated in an exclusive CMOs-only Roundtable to share insights around the topic of "What's in Store in 2014 for Marketing." At the reception, attendees enjoyed an extended cocktail hour and seated dinner before the evening's hosts, Phil Clement of Aon and Carol Kruse (formerly) of ESPN, took the stage to announce both category and CMOs Choice winners. Towards the end of the ceremony, Stephen Quinn received a standing ovation as he was inducted into the CMO Hall of Fame by Greg Welch of Spencer Stuart. As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Walmart, Mr. Quinn is responsible for all aspects of Walmart's marketing efforts, including customer research, strategy, program development, branding and customer communications. He joined Walmart in 2005 as the senior vice president of marketing and was named to his current position in 2007.
Mr. Martin St. George, Marty has been Senior Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy at JetBlue Airways Corporation since January 2009. Mr. St. George served as Vice President of Planning at JetBlue Airways Corporation from July 26, 2006 to January 2009 and was responsible for the route selection, analysis, and network strategy for JetBlue.
John Hayes is the Chief Marketing Officer of American Express. For the past 18 years, he has overseen the company's marketing efforts worldwide, shaping both the company's image and its brand. In addition to overseeing marketing strategies and product development, Hayes leads the functions of brand management, global advertising, digital marketing, market research and corporate sponsorships.
John Costello joined Dunkin' Brands in 2009. He has global responsibility for Dunkin' Donuts marketing, consumer engagement, consumer and business intelligence and field marketing, supports the worldwide Baskin-Robbins marketing organizations and oversees Dunkin' Brands global research and development, culinary team and channel development efforts for both brands.
As Pet360's EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Rose is responsible for consumer strategy, vision, product development and marketplace positioning, as well as overall resource allocation and budgetary decisions.
Raj Rao is an experienced global business management executive with a particular expertise in electronic commerce and marketing. He has gained his experience at some of the most globally admired companies, including Procter & Gamble and 3M.
Ms. Stephanie Anderson has been Senior Vice President of Marketing for Business Services since September, 2012. Ms. Anderson oversees all marketing, sales and customer relationship management activities.
