Sammi Girl Productions to Premiere Docu-Web Series "What I Became -- The Story of Funeral: A Musical" Monday, November 18th
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/18/13 -- Sammi Girl Productions is pleased to announce that the company will be premiering the docu-web series, "What I Became -- The Story of Funeral: A Musical" on SammiGirlProductions.com and on the Sammi Girl Productions YouTube Channel. "We are very excited to share with everyone our docu-web series. This project is very near and dear to our hearts and we encourage everyone to watch and share with friends," Bobby Kraft, CEO of Sammi Girl Productions, stated. "What I Became episodes will be released weekly on YouTube and SammiGirlProductions.com every Monday, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel to watch episodes as they are published right on your feed."
Sammi Kraft, prior to her passing, starred as Amanda Whurlitzer in feature film, Bad News Bears, with Billy Bob Thornton, Greg Kinnear and Marcia Gay Harden, directed by Richard Linklater. She was also working on getting her degree, and played lead guitar/vocals in her band, Scary Girls. Frankie Kraft is the Creator and Director of "What I Became." He is also an actor, and has appeared in musicals Off-Broadway in New York City, and was in the Hollywood Bowl production of "Les Miserables: In Concert" starring Brian Stokes Mitchell, Lea Michele, and John Lloyd Young. Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. Frankie is the book writer for the musical he wrote with his sister, "Funeral: A Musical."
"What I Became -- The Story of Funeral: A Musical is a docu-web series that follows the story of my sister, Sammi and I, during our first and only collaboration before her untimely passing. From recording demos of all the music to the workshop in January of 2012, we documented the entire process," Frankie Kraft, President of Sammi Girl Productions, adds.
