TNCI Selects Blaine Gilles as SVP of Network Services

Dr. Gilles was selected due to his proven track record as an industry expert for telecommunications companies across the United States. During his career, Dr. Gilles has served as the General Manager of a nationally-recognized CLEC, headed the voice business unit of one of the largest wholesale carriers in the United States, and acted as COO of a VOIP switching company. Additionally, Dr. Gilles has been an expert witness on behalf of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Ameritech Corporation, and provided management consulting services to numerous private equity and telecom carrier clients.

Dr. Gilles's tenure with WilTel Communications and later with Level 3, underscores his capability and expertise. During his time with WilTel, he led its Voice Services business unit from inception to generating well over $1 billion in annual revenue. This included the deployment of a of service infrastructure that enabled WilTel to provide long distance to more than 25 million end users in under four years.
In his new role, Dr. Gilles will oversee all network deployment, planning and operations for TNCI. The practices and policies that he aims to instill will better serve the end user community that relies on TNCI for data, long distance and local services.
