Platinum Studios Announces Shawn DePasquale as New Creative Content Manager for Publishing
Developer Brings Decade of Comic Publishing Experience to the Company

(OTCBB: PDOS), an entertainment company that controls an international library of over 5,000 comic book characters which it adapts, produces and licenses for all forms of media, is proud to announce Shawn DePasquale as the new Creative Content Manager for Publishing.
Shawn DePasquale has a ten year history in the comic book publishing business and joins Platinum after having worked as a freelancer for Platinum Studios for the past six years. In 2005, he formed his own independent comic book publishing company with several other artists called Special Comics. Special Comics and a few other small companies combined their resources to form the Vicious Circle Project, which went on to produce several mini-series and two anthologies. Shawn continued his work in comics over the next few years working as a writer, editor, and letterer, learning various facets of the comic book industry along the way.

Shawn's responsibilities include developing and acquiring new and pre-existing content for the publishing division. Platinum Studios' film adaptation of its original comic "Cowboys & Aliens," starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford and directed by Jon Favreau, will be released in North America on July 29, 2011 via DreamWorks and Universal Pictures with Paramount Pictures handling the international release of the picture.
"Cowboys & Aliens" is just one of the properties Platinum controls among a multi-universe library. Platinum remains independent of major entertainment studio affiliation while Marvel is owned by Disney and DC Comics is owned by Warner Bros.
