(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/19/13 -- Mr. Lawrence Novachis, Chief Executive Officer of FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corp. ("FilterBoxx" or "the Corporation") announces the strategic addition of several industry experts to the management team. These additional resources will strengthen the management team for the Company, and will position the Corporation for continued growth and long-term success.
Mr. Steve Kroll has joined the Company as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Mr. Kroll is an operations and business development professional with over 22 years' experience within the industry. He has a proven sales track record in the environmental, energy and resource sector across Canada and globally, successfully executing strategic growth initiatives in both Municipal and Industrial markets that resulted in an early market leadership position using membrane based technology. Prior to joining FilterBoxx, he was with Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies Inc. from 2008, and spent 11 years with GE ZENON.
Mr. Christopher Edmonds has joined FilterBoxx in the capacity of Vice President Strategic Business Development. Mr. Edmonds has been in the Water & Wastewater Industry for 24 years in various capital equipment sales and business development roles. In addition to sales experience in both domestic and international industrial markets, he has developed expertise in process design, equipment engineering, plant construction, and system operations. Prior to joining FilterBoxx, Chris was with Glegg Water Conditioning (later GE Water and Process Technologies) and US Filter (later Siemens Water Technologies), where he was Global Director - Power Market.
In addition to this Executive bench strength, Mr. Novachis welcomes Mr. Sam Malik, Senior Director of Operations for the Packaged Water Division. Mr. Malik joins the Company with over 18 years of international oil & gas, oil sands, water treatment, petrochemical, environment, EPCM experience, strategic planning, senior leadership, change management, and innovative experience. Mr. Malik has a proven background in driving efficiencies, establishing project management operations offices and maximizing return for the investors. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Malik worked for a number of respected companies such as TAQA North Ltd., Suncor Energy Inc., Husky Oil Operations Ltd., Shell Canada and Enbridge Inc.
Mr. James "David" Friel, a highly-knowledgeable and results-driven Senior Procurement Professional and Manufacturing Leader with 20+ years of experience spanning diverse technical and operational leadership roles within the Industrial Water Treatment Industry has joined the Company as Director of Supply Chain. Previously, Mr. Friel was with Siemens Energy O&G WS (formerly USFilter) where he spent 10+ years and prior to joining Siemens, Dave spent 10+ years at GE Water Technologies (formerly Glegg Water Conditioning).
