announces successful completion of its 3 year ISO13485 CMDCAS
re-certification audit. 'The successful completion of this intensive 2 day
audit is an important operational milestone and provides independent
confirmation of OroScience's commitment and capability to repeatedly and
reliably produce high quality medical products,' said Phil Houle, Chief
Operating Officer. 'It is also a critical element in allowing OroScience
to expand the distribution of our wound care emulsion into the Canadian and
European markets, planned for the fourth quarter of this year,' commented
Mark G. Fontenot, ME, MBA,DDS, Chief Executive Officer of OroScience. Dr.
Fontenot added that, 'the introduction of our oral wound care emulsion,
Curative, into the European market represents a significant financial
opportunity for OroScience. We estimate the Canadian and European market
opportunity for Curative to be on the order of EUR250M annually and are
actively working to develop distribution capabilities there.'
