Media Advisory: Minister of National Defence to Meet with U.S. Secretary of Defense in Halifax and Sign Asia-Pacific Policy Cooperation Framework

(firmenpresse) - HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/20/13 -- The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls, Minister of National Defence, and the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, will meet in Halifax to discuss a variety of issues related to Canada-U.S. defence relations and sign the Canada-U.S. Asia-Pacific Defense Policy Cooperation Framework. A brief media availability will follow the meeting and signing event.

Notes to editor / news director: Media representatives wishing to attend the press conference with Minister Nicholson and Secretary Hagel are invited to confirm their attendance and register no later than 09:00 a.m. on November 22, 2013, with Captain Doug Keirstead at (902) 456-4001.

Media representatives coming for the press conference are required to arrive no later than 10:50 a.m. (AST) and have valid photo identification in order to cover this event.
