Catherine Clay Named CEO of Livevol
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/21/13 -- Catherine Clay is the new CEO of Livevol, Inc., the leader in equity and index-options technology and services. Clay, who was previously the company's chief strategy officer, will lead the company's strategic initiatives for its options-analytics, market-data and brokerage businesses.

Clay has more than 20 years' experience in the financial and investment markets. Since August 2010, she has been chief strategy officer at Livevol where she has been responsible for strategic initiatives related to the company's technology and broker-dealer services.
Previously, Clay was a co-founder and CEO of Thales, LLC, a proprietary, option-market-making firm that traded equity and index options, and single-stock futures. Thales pioneered software solutions for quoting, trade execution and risk management for proprietary use.
Clay began her trading career at Timber Hill, Interactive Brokers' market-making company, where she was the manager of floor trading and a lead market maker on the NYSE Arca options trading floor from 1994 to 2006.
She received a bachelor's of science degree in journalism, and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Colorado. She also holds the Series 7 and 56 licenses.
