SCROOSER web shop rolling out!
German Startup „Scrooser Inc.“ is on schedule. A few hours ago, the web shop went live. Now the Scrooser models pure & prime can be ordered.
(firmenpresse) - DRESDEN / NEW YORK CITY. It's time! After the great success of the Kickstarter campaign, IFPE GmbH & Co. KG's SCROOSER can be ordered from their online shop on www.scrooser.com. There are two versions available, "pure" and "prime". Thus, the company is on schedule and is looking forward to deliver the already pre-ordered SCROOSERs within the 2nd Quarter of 2014 to enthusiasts from many countries.
During the last weeks, the lifestyle city scooter has drawn international media's attention and from people around the world. SCROOSER was praised especially for its unique design, the innovative technology of the electric motor and the associated concept to create more mobility with less traffic in the big cities. Caused by the brilliant press coverage, especially on the leading technology and design blogs in the U.S., Europe and China, more than 60 pre-orders can already be posted.
On these pre-orders the team of "SCROOSER Manufactory" in Dresden would like to establish and continue to prosper: "We just rolled out our web shop www.shop.scrooser.com, the SCROOSER can now be easily ordered from home." said Jens Thieme, CEO of the company. The scooter is available in two different versions: Firstly, the "pure" version for USD 4,500 and secondly, the "prime" version (wider color range, more elegant design and included software update) for USD 4,900.
Just under 190,000 U.S. dollars, which were collected on the US-American crowdfunding platform "Kickstarter", were used by the Saxon company during the recent months to continue developing SCROOSER. All components such as frame, seat, battery, electric motor and Impulse Drive have now finished development. The development for Scrooser series one has ninety percent completed. Particularly, the supporters of the campaign are quite happy about the recently shipped rewards, such as shirts, hoodies and caps. Those will soon reach their recipients.
Currently the company focuses on preparing preproduction, thus the required laboratory tests can be performed in February. Thieme is confident and looking forward: "As long as the current development continues as positive, the first SCROOSER will soon be assembled and delivered on time. Potential customers, who order within 2013, are most likely to have their SCROOSER delivered within the beginning of summer 2014. Consequently, those will be the first ones in their city to redefine urban mobility smartly and cool with SCROOSER.
