Columbus Exploration Appoints Drew Clark as Senior Vice President
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/25/13 -- Columbus Exploration Corporation (TSX VENTURE: CLX) ("ColumbusX") (formerly Columbus Silver Corporation), is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its management team with the addition of Drew Clark as Senior Vice President.
Drew joins ColumbusX from Premier Royalty Inc. where he was head of Corporate Development. As an integral part of the team at Premier Royalty, he was responsible for the identification and evaluation of hundreds of royalty and streaming opportunities. In less than two years, Premier acquired six high-quality operating royalties, went public on the Toronto Stock Exchange and raised over $40 million both privately and publically. The success of Premier culminated in its acquisition by a larger competitor in October 2013.
Drew is based in Toronto where he has spent most of his career working in institutional equity research covering the mining sector. He started in the industry as a junior mining research associate at CIBC World Markets and went on to become a publishing mining analyst at two boutique investment dealers in Toronto. His experience provides analytical and capital markets expertise that will enhance ColumbusX's capabilities to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities.
Drew obtained his Bachelor's in Commerce Degree from McGill University and is a CFA Charterholder.
The foregoing appointment is subject to TSX Venture exchange approval and to a standard probationary period.
