First iTWO World Conference hosted by RIB Group in Hong Kong with attendees
from the world's leading construction companies
Hong Kong, 26 November 2013. RIB Software AG hosted the first iTWO World
Conference in Hong Kong. By signing a manifesto, the top 65 visionaries of
the construction industry, leading Contractors and Developers from
Australia, Austria, Turkey, Germany, Middle East, Singapore, Hong Kong,
Malaysia, Finland and China agreed that iTWO is a revolution in the global
construction business in the 21st century, witnessed by leading American
media and science.
'The integration of the virtual into the physical engineering process -iTWO
Technology is revolutionizing the global construction business in the 21st
century.
New technology demands new thinking and new working methods to transform
construction to the most advanced industry on our planet.
We are running together to create the next generation of living.'
iTWO BIM 5D Technology expands the common BIM (Building Information
Modeling) approach and means the complete integration of the two processes
in the construction lifecycle, the virtual into the physical. During the
3-day conference, iTWO Technology partners and visionaries from all over
the world shared their iTWO 5D experience and visions with the audience.
Thomas Wolf, CEO RIB Group, set the event in motion by explaining to the
visionaries from 21 different countries and 4 different continents, that
the technology has changed in recent times and how this will evoke a new
working method: 'The integration of the virtual into the physical
engineering process - iTWO Technology is revolutionizing the global

Prof. Martin Fischer from Stanford University was presenting the trend and
benefits of integrating virtual and physical construction processes. Active
podium discussions were moderated by Tom Sawyer, Senior Editor from ENR and
Prof. Martin Fischer.
