Cryptzone follows through on its previous commitment to rationalize security product portfolio

Cryptzone, the IT security and threat mitigation specialist, has today followed
through on its previously declared strategy to re-focus its product offering and
dispose of the SE46 product suite, in accordance with the decisions made at the
Extraordinary General Meeting held in 2012.
SE46 was acquired in late 2010 with a view to extending Cryptzone's portfolio to
include Application Whitelisting, an area in which Cryptzone has chosen no
longer to focus. The divestment is made through the sale of patents and
intellectual property, as well as the transfer of development staff. The buyer
consists of former management team members at SE46, who were also employed
within Cryptzone following the original acquisition.
"Cryptzone is currently following its strategy to concentrate on our two key
technologies, namely, content security and secure access control," says Ilija
Batljan , Cryptzone's Chairman. "The divestment of SE46 is another step towards
the company's focus on security solutions and services that secure and add value
to the Mobile/BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and Microsoft SharePoint market."
Existing customers will receive on-going support and product development for
SE46 products through the buyer, Accurisec Softwarehouse AB.
The sale has no material impact on the consolidated results, as the purchase
price is almost matched by a write off of capitalized development costs.
