Hamburg, 30th August 2010 - PROCON MultiMedia AG (ISIN: DE0005122006, Prime
Standard), an internationally leading full-service provider of technical
equipment for events, film and TV productions, raised sales from EUR 21.3
million to EUR 35.2 million in the second quarter. Due to this, sales of
the first half year raised by 43.1 % from EUR 41.6 million to EUR 59.6
million.
In the second quarter, the gross result rose by 63.6 % from EUR 3.3 million
to EUR 5.4 million. In the first half year 2010, the gross result rose by
45.3 % to EUR 9.5 million (previous year: EUR 6.5 million).
EBIT of the second quarter is with EUR 1.3 million clearly above EUR 0.2
million of previous year. The DVFA/SG earnings of the first half year rose
from EUR -0.7 million to EUR 0.2 million. EBITDA is with EUR 4.5 million
31.9 % higher than previous year.
Projects served by Procon in the first half year have included amongst
others: the Eurovision Song Contest, Oslo/Norway, several pavilions at the
World Expo in Shanghai/China as well as a fixed installation at the Doha
Convention Centre, Qatar.
