New Presence 1.2 Features Monster Central Plugs to Help Save Money With Remote Power Control
(firmenpresse) - PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/13 -- The free application from People Power, Presence 1.2, which turns iOS devices into WiFi or cellular-connected video cameras, supports home energy management capabilities with Monster Central products. Through Presence, users can remotely control and monitor electrical use, understand the energy costs of devices and establish a home power use schedule.

To set up Monster Central products with Presence, simply connect the Monster Central Gateway to a home router using an Ethernet cable. Scan the QR code on each Monster plug to pair it to a Presence account, and plug it into a wall outlet. Now, the energy consumption of anything plugged in can be monitored from your smartphone, and Presence can turn the device on or off manually or according to a schedule.
