Dietsmann and Nile Petroleum Corporation sign DietsmannNile Joint Venture, South Sudan

On the 21st of November 2013 the official signing ceremony of a joint venture
agreement between Dietsmann Technologies International and Nile Petroleum
Corporation - the South Sudanese state Oil company - took place in Juba, the
capital of South Sudan. The agreement foresees the formation of a joint company,
called DietsmannNile, that as a subcontractor to the oil operators in the
country will be responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of oil production
facilities.
After signing the agreement Dietsmann's President, Peter Kutemann, and the Nile
Petroleum Corporation's Managing Director, Paul Adong, both gave speeches in
which they emphasized the importance of this joint venture and its ambitions
with regard to training local South Sudanese workers to carry out Operation &
Maintenance functions. The Honorable Minister of Petroleum, Mining and Industry
Cde. Stephen Dhieu Dau, then gave an inspiring speech to commemorate this
historic event in the life of the young nation. The ceremony was attended by
dignitaries and representatives of the Petroleum and Gas Commission, the Energy
Commission and the Ministry of Labor, as well as managers and representatives of
CNOC, Petronas, ONGC, GPOC, DPOC and SPOC and was broadcast on local television.
