Skyscape Subscribers Eligible for Discounted Digital, Mobile CME Resources

Under the partnership, PI will now offer subscribers to its Skyscape digital and mobile platforms expanded access to Oakstone's high quality, unbiased and multimedia resources for physicians, dentists and allied health care professionals at a discounted rate. Oakstone has achieved Accreditation with Commendation from the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the highest recognition for a medical content provider that the ACCME awards.

Oakstone, one of the foremost providers of CME and CDE content available through online, video and audio formats, launched its first mobile application earlier this year for its Practical Reviews product line. Oakstone recently launched , which is also now available to Skyscape subscribers, in response to recent U.S. DOT regulations that commercial motor vehicle drivers must be certified to perform their jobs. The mandate, which goes into effect on May 21, 2014, will require physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who perform DOT exams to become certified medical examiners in order to apply the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) physical qualification standards and guidelines when certifying drivers for their jobs.
