240,000 shares

Griesheim, 12th of October 2010: ralos New Energies AG has reported the
successful placing of the capital increase announced on 11.10.2010. The
company's share capital was increased by 429,000 new bearer shares from
existing authorised capital. With a placement price of 6.75 Euro the gross
volume amounts to approx. 2.9 million EUR.
The current major shareholder ING Investment Management (Europe) B.V., Den
Haag, Netherlands, subscribed to almost 240,000 new shares, thereby
increasing its interest in ralos New Energies AG indirectly and directly
from 27.4 percent to approx. 29.5 percent. The remaining 189,000 shares
were offered to German and international institutional investors.
The net proceeds from the capital increase will be invested in project
development. The company has also increased its flexibility to respond to
current market developments in the attractive photovoltaic market.
After the capital increase is entered in the Companies Register, the total
number of shares will amount to 5,813,154 (currently 5,384,154), this
corresponds to share capital of 11,626,308 EUR. Close Brothers Seydler Bank
AG acted as Sole Bookrunner on this capital increase.
