The company announced today that it has been certified as a health data intermediary by the State of Minnesota's Office of the Commissioner of Health. Sandlot is now authorized to provide health information exchange services in Minnesota, through the operationalization of a record locator system (RLS) and the use of the company's full suite of Connect, Dimensions, Metrix and Care Manager offerings.
As part of the certification process, Sandlot will participate in the Statewide Shared Services Collaborative created by the Minnesota Department of Health, facilitating data sharing by providers and helping to decrease fragmentation and duplication in the delivery of healthcare.
