WINAICO continues to offer its insurance protection for PV systems in 2014
WINAICO’s module series WST can also be insured from next year on
(firmenpresse) - INAICO, a division of Taiwan´s biggest module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd., continues to offer its “3in1“ insurance package to its customers in the next year. The comprehensive insurance policy covers the complete photovoltaic system against almost all property damage, operational interruptions and any possible reduced yields for the first two years. Furthermore, the operator has the option of extending the insurance cover by an additional eight years, to a total of ten years.
What is new is that from 2014 on also modules of WINAICO’s WST series can be insured. However, for these modules the first two years are not for free and the insurance conditions differ from the already known conditions for the WSP series.
Furthermore, WINAICO can offer insurance protection in all European countries from January 2014 on and, in addition, can provide a similar insurance coverage for Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, the Philippines and the USA from next year on.
“We already introduced our “3in1“ insurance package in 2011 to provide even more security to our customers and system operators. While many of our competitors already withdrew from the market or can not provide this kind of insurance any longer, we even extended the package and thus can offer the insurance protection for our WST modules in the future“, says Sascha Rossmann, Vice President of Global Sales of WINAICO.
The insurance package was created in cooperation with Willis Group Holdings plc, one of the world’s leading insurance brokers. The scope of insurance cover is underwritten by the renowned European insurance company ERGO Versicherung AG. Decisive for the superb scope of cover and the attractive conditions of a contractual extension is not only the strict quality assurance measures but also the fact that WINAICO supplies its customers on an exclusively direct basis.
