Special show to focus the attention on the plastics industry
ZOW[K] to present companies, products and solutions from the plastics processing industry within the framework of ZOW 2014
(firmenpresse) - [Bad Salzuflen, 15 January 2014] Event Organiser Clarion Events Deutschland and the Association "Kunststoffe in OWL e.V." will be providing the plastics processing industry with a new forum next year: At ZOW[K], companies from the sector will be showcasing their ranges of innovative products and solutions for additional branches of industry alongside the International Fair for Suppliers to the Furniture and Interior Design Industries. Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Centre will be the venue for visitors and exhibitors to meet with representatives from relevant sectors of the economy such as the mechanical and electrical engineering industries and the consumer goods industry.
East Westphalia-Lippe is one of the leading regions for plastics processing in Germany with over 500 plastics processing companies, three faculties, two commercial colleges and various educational institutions. The stronger network within the most important furniture cluster therefore suggested itself. "The supply industry employs plastics in many areas of furniture production - but also in a wide range of other branches of industry", explains Philip Lehmann, Director of Oskar Lehmann GmbH & Co. KG. Consequently, the manufacturer of plastic components from Blomberg is taking a two-fold approach: Members of staff will be showcasing supply parts for the furniture industry at ZOW, while the company will be taking advantage of the special show to demonstrate its expertise in providing solutions for the other industries. "Exhibitors and visitors will benefit from the direct exchange of ideas in this compact environment."
In addition to Oskar Lehmann, Ninkaplast, AGOFORM, Coko-Werk and the Heinze Group will be showcasing their innovative material and product solutions at the first special show to be held in Hall 20 from 10-13 February. The framework provided by the established ZOW is ideal as a starting point", states Klaus Henning Wulf, Director of Ninkaplast GmbH, which is located right next to the Exhibition Centre.
"In the medium term, we will be aiming to develop the format of a special show within the scope of ZOW into an independent forum for the plastics processing industry", adds Horst Rudolph, Director of the Event Organiser Clarion Events Deutschland.
