G&D at the World ATM Congress 2014
(PresseBox) - The one who is playing a role in the future of aviation management cannot afford to miss the World ATM Congress 2014 in Madrid. The event in the capital of Spain is considered as the largest global platform of the aviation management (ATM). With close to 30 years of experience, German Guntermann & Drunck GmbH will share its knowledge and present its KVM technologies - both on the tradeshow floor and in the educational program on the Spotlight Stage on March 4th.
The main actors in the global ATM business will be exchanging their ideas and experience and look at the latest trends and developments in aviation management in Madrid from March 4th to 6th, 2014. The event is supported by leading flight security organizations and the industry's suppliers. In this environment, German Guntermann & Drunck GmbH will present its KVM products for the ATC field with comprehensive management functions and fallback concepts.

When developing new product ideas, G&D puts special emphasis on reliable, high-quality solutions. In this context, leading ANSPs are a valuable source of inspiration and information for G&D. For example, SNMP control has been developed in cooperation with the Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC). By using G&D KVM solutions air traffic controllers are always one step ahead any potential failures. Thanks to the high quality and safety standards, the G&D concept is used in many more mission-critical environments.
KVM devices for high demands
Within the educational program, G&D will cover the topic of KVM with practical examples. On March 4th at 14.15 h longstanding G&D staff will present on the Spotlight Stage of the World ATM Congress how KVM technology enhances health management of IT systems in the ATC field.
KVM equipment enables its users to operate several computers from one or more workstations although they do not share the same location. With its wide range of KVM solutions, G&D has gained an excellent reputation, in particular, in the air traffic security industry, ANSPs, and among specialist integrators who install the devices at the end customer. The range of products includes KVM extenders bridging distances of up to 40,000 meters between users and computers. These systems even provide a 4K resolution. With this, remote access as well as administration can be handled even more flexibly. G&D's broad range of ATC products offers many opportunities to operate and to control systems by means of extenders, switches, matrix switches, consoles, as well as accessories such as rack mount sets.

G&D was founded in 1985 by Udo Guntermann and Martin Drunck. The KVM manufacturer had already worked on KVM solutions before these received their name.
