Can Planning a Wedding Make you a Monster?
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, FEB. 12, 2014/Knot Happy/- Planning a wedding has always been an excuse for people to get a little crazy sometimes. New series 'Knot Happy' explores the uniqueness of different couples going through the process.
Creators and actors; Dayna LoBosco and Robert Mercado have created a well crafted template of different characters and their process of planning a wedding. Ranging from a ‘Freakin’ Classy’ Italian Couple, The ‘Hipster’ couple who communicates via text, and many more unique, and interesting characters.
A new episode will be aired once a week at KnotHappy.com , beginning on Valentine's day where they introduce a charming Italian couple from Long Island. "I used to think the term 'Bridezilla' was a myth, until I saw some of the sweetest people I knew turn into something scary that you would find in a J.J. Abrams movie." laughed Robert Mercado
Dayna LoBosco and Robert Mercado, are alumni of the famous improv center, Upright Citizen’s Brigade. One of UCB’s founders is Amy Poehler and have a list of alumni such as Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation), Paul Scheer (The League), and many more.
In how this show was created, Robert Mercado replied, “I wanted to create something I could act in, instead of waiting for the phone to ring, and I mentioned something in a Facebook post, and Dayna immediately responded with enough ideas to make my head spin. She is nothing short of amazing and I am happy to be working with her.” - Robert Mercado
