H.C. Starck Ceramics expands color selection for zirconium oxide blanks
(PresseBox) - Two colors have been added to the successful product line of highly translucent zirconium oxide blanks made of STARCERAM® Z-Med TransColour zirconium oxide. Produced exclusively in Germany according to the highest quality standards, these zirconium oxide blanks are immediately available in eight standard colors for use in dental technology.
The two new colors show a reddish shading and offer dental technology excellent value for the money for monolithic crowns and bridges as well as copings.
As a German branded product of the highest quality, the zirconium oxide blanks made of STARCERAM® Z-Med TransColour have FDA approval and meet the 93/42/EEC guideline. Each blank is single isostatic pressed, giving it a very homogeneous microstructure. In addition, the blanks offer outstanding qualities for processing, lending the manufactured restorations a natural esthetic look and feel.
The zirconium oxide blanks can be delivered from stock in disk form with shoulder and a diameter of 99 millimeters. Other geometries are available on request. The sale of the dental product line to dental labs and milling centers in the EU region takes place exclusively through H.C. Starck's sales partner, Siladent Dr. Böhme & Schöps GmbH in Goslar/Germany. System providers are supplied directly, as are large milling centers after consultation.
