Hamburg, 30th November 2010 - PROCON MultiMedia AG (ISIN: DE0005122006,
Prime Standard), an internationally leading full-service provider of
technical equipment for events, film and TV productions, generated sales of
EUR 96.8 million after nine months in 2010 (previous year: EUR 61.9
million) which are affected by projects at the World Expo Shanghai. In the
same period, the result before interest and tax amounts to EUR 4.1 million
after EUR 3.6 million in the last year's period.
In the third quarter, sales results to EUR 37.2 million after EUR 20.3
million in the previous year. The gross result rose by EUR 3.2 million to
EUR 7.1 million in the third quarter compared to last year's third quarter.
The DVFA/SG earnings of the first nine months amount to EUR 1.1 million
after EUR -2.3 million in the same period of the previous year. EBITDA rose
by EUR 3.6 million from EUR 10.0 million to EUR 13.6 million.
Projects served by Procon in the third quarter have included amongst
others: the Commonwealth Games in Dehli, the Singapore Youth Olympic Summer
Games, several booths at Paris Motor Show as well as projects at the World
Expo Shanghai.
