Peterborough Water Tank Specialist Helping Farmers To Adopt Rainwater Harvesting Solutions Through Grant Scheme

Water tank manufacturer, Enduramaxx, is helping farmers to implement Rainwater Harvesting Tanks which they may be able to acquire through the Farming and Forestry Improvement Scheme; a £10m grant fund to help farming, forestry and horticultural businesses looking to improve their competitiveness.
The Farming and Forestry Improvement Scheme is part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and is a scheme geared towards supporting the development of farming, forestry and horticultural businesses in England to become more efficient at using resources. It aims to help businesses become more profitable and resilient whilst reducing the impact of farming on the environment.
The third round of the scheme has now been launched and could see applicants receive grants between £2,500 and £35,000 to cover typical capital items which could include: heat recovery systems, electricity efficiency devices for livestock housing and milk parlours; soil mapping software and GPS equipment for precision farming; shallow injection systems for slurry tankers and roofing existing manure or silage stores; EID readers, mobile sheep and cattle handling systems; badger proof in-field feed troughs, and rainwater harvesting equipment.
