Hamburg, 3rd December 2010 - The Board of Directors of KWG Kommunale Wohnen
AG decided on 1st December 2010, with the agreement of the Supervisory
Board, to carry out a cash capital increase from authorised capital to the
amount of 982,248 shares, excluding subscription rights for existing
shareholders. The 982,248 new shares were placed with national and
international investors for a total issue price of 5,058,577.20 euros
within the framework of a private placement.
The issue of 982,248 new shares made out to the bearer raises the company's
authorised capital by a norminal 982,248 euros from 9,822,481 to 10,804,729
euros. The inflow of funds to the amount of 5,058,577.20 euros will help
KWG push ahead with its corporate growth.
Investors' interest in the new share issue exceeded considerably the amount
of the cash capital increase. The transaction was supervised by Silvia
Quandt&Cie. AG.
