New multifunction tape from HANNO with even wider applications
Company Hanno Werk GmbH&Co. KG from Laatzen near Hannover presents a new, moisture-adaptive multifunction tape at frontale in Nuremberg.
(PresseBox) - With merely four sizes, this tape covers the full range of window joint sealing applications such as passive house, new housing, refurbishment as well as thermal/sound insulation of joints 3 mm to 50 mm wide.
Hannoband®-3E BG1 has two functional membranes which produce a barrier effect on the side exposed to diffusion. The MPA Bau proved that the diffusion-blocking effect of this multifunction tape is higher on the moister side than on the drier side. So moisture is always carried away from the joint. The joint becomes dry both at winter temperatures such as in the situation ?inside tighter than outside demanded by RAL and also during reverse diffusion in the warm season of the year.
Besides, in the extensive passive-house suitability study undertaken by Prof. Dr. Leimer of the BBS Institut Wolfenbüttel, the thermal properties of Hannoband®-3E BG1 for passive house suitability and the airtight properties of the product were tested. The test included the usual movements of structural elements. Other test certificates such as from ift Rosenheim are on hand.
The high air-tightness, together with the specified insensitivity to driving rain of 1050 Pa and sound insulation of 58 db in the unrendered joint outperforms many other multifunction tapes and makes Hannoband®-3E BG1 a superlative multifunction tape in the market.
