Schaeffler Automotive - Engine, Transmission and Chassis Systems Business Divisions Under New Management
(PresseBox) - The Executive Board of Schaeffler AG has appointed a new management for the Business Divisions Engine Systems, Transmission Systems and Chassis Systems with effect from July 1, 2014.
Klaus Cierocki (47), currently President of the Engine Components Business Unit, will take over as President of the Engine Systems Business Division.
Matthias Zink (44), currently President of Automotive China and the Transmission Technologies Business Unit, will assume responsibility for the Transmission Systems Business Division.
Jörg Wagner (53), currently responsible for the Chassis and Accesory Drives Business Unit, will assume responsibility for the Chassis Systems Business Division.
Klaus Cierocki and Jörg Wagner will report to Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus, and Matthias Zink will report to Mr. Norbert Indlekofer. At the beginning of the year, Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus and Norbert Indlekofer were appointed to the Executive Board of Schaeffler AG as CEO Automotive.
Prof. Dr. Peter Pleus und Mr. Norbert Indlekofer said: "We are delighted that three very experienced automotive experts, Mr. Cierocki, Mr. Zink, and Mr. Wagner, will assume responsibility for the management of these Business Divisions. All three gentlemen have held different management positions at Schaeffler Automotive for several years and have made a decisive contribution to the success of the Automotive business."
