HELMA Eigenheimbau AG books record orders in 2010
Lehrte, January 12, 2011 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist in
individual solid construction homes and sustainable energy concepts,
recorded a higher order intake in its 2010 financial year than ever before
in the company's 30-year history. Net orders booked by the Group (houses
and land) amounted to EUR 97.6 million, compared with EUR 86.6 million in
the year before. The increase of EUR 11.0 million represented growth of
12.7 percent. In this context, the total intake of new orders consisted of
564 houses and 56 plots of land (2009:496 houses and 37 plots of land),
with each of the land plots being sold to customers along with a HELMA
house, in line with the tried and tested business model.
With this gratifying sales result, the HELMA Group was once again well
ahead of the market for detached and semi-detached houses and continued to
boost its market share. The decision to expand the project business
undertaken by subsidiary HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH proved a profitable one, as
this unit delivered an important contribution to the Group's sales success
in 2010.
The board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG expects to see further appreciable
growth in orders in 2011. Besides the company's own strong growth
prospects, the uptrend in the market for detached and semi-detached houses
driven by the buoyant economic conditions represents a promising position.

The sales figures for the 2010 financial year presented above already
include all cancellations received up until the day preceding the
publication of this announcement. The previous year's figures are based on
the same reporting date to allow optimal comparability.
