The new temperature transmitter T01 with CAN Bus

(PresseBox) - Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) is introducing the new T01 temperature transmitter. The temperature transmitter was specially developed for use in commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. It is based on a highly accurate PT1000A temperature element in a welded stainless steel casing. As a result of the high-quality materials used, which are tried and tested in mobile hydraulics applications, the T01 is compatible with an extremely wide range of media and exhibits a high level of mechanical strength.
Based on STW's many years of experience in mobile hydraulic applications sector, particular attention was paid to the typically harsh conditions such as vibration, EMC, thermal stress loads and other external influences. The transmitter has an operating temperature range of -40...+125 deg C and ingress protection class IP67. The T01 is naturally also suitable for industrial applications.
On the output side, the device incorporates the SAE J1939 protocol and CANopen, whereby 11- and 29-bit identifiers are supported. The electric connection is via a 5-pin M12 plug.
The T01 is developed and manufactured by STW, an ISO TS 16949-certified company, using state of the art development and production methods. The T01 has E1 certification and will be available in series from the 2nd quarter of 2014.
