Pressure transmitter M01 - now available for pressure ranges from 1 bar

(PresseBox) - Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) developed the M01 pressure transmitter specifically for industrial vehicles and mobile machines. This transmitter is now also available for pressure ranges from 1 bar. The type of integrated pressure element is now dependent on the pressure range.
For pressure ranges under 10 bar a silicon element is used. The element, which is available for relative and absolute measurements, has the passive side to the media to provide a relatively high media compatibility. For pressure ranges of 10 bar and above the proven thin film element from STW own production is used, and as before welded to the process connection.
For both types of element the process connection and the housing are made of high quality stainless steel. For pressure ranges below 25 bar the pressure equalisation takes place over an integrated Goretex® membrane. In summary the pressure transmitter is available for pressure ranges 1 to 10 bar R or A with a silicon element, and 10 to 2000 bar R with a thin film element. Output options include 4-20 mA, 0-20mA, 0-10V, 0-5V or 0.5-4.5V (ratiometric).
The M01 can be ordered with a variety of process connections and electrical connectors which ensures maximum flexibility. The transmitter is calibrated over temperature to provide a total accuracy from 1% FS in the compensated range of 0...80°C. The M01 can operate in a temperature range from -40...+150°C. Naturally the M01 has both E1 and UL certifications.
