February 2011) - Spectral Capital Corporation, ('Spectral' or the
'Company') (FCCN.OB) (F3SN:F) is pleased to offer a letter for our
shareholders providing a recap of company news.
Dear Spectral Shareholder,
Over the past several months, since the inception of Spectral in August of
2010, we have been on a concerted, dedicated campaign to build shareholder
value through the acquisition and development of mineral resources. I would
like to share with you some of these highlights as part of our commitment
to providing our shareholders with the most up-to-date information.
To date, we have acquired two very large mineral properties, both of which
have the potential to yield gold and other minerals that would create
massive value. Both of these properties are in regions where significant
gold has been found while also providing us with a geographic balance. The
initial acquisition is based in the Chita Region of Russia and the most
recent acquisition is in Kazakhstan. Currently we have separate geological
firms actively working on the development of these properties.
In January, after the completion of preliminary due diligence, we received
a Letter of Interest from the US Export-Import Bank, an organ of the United
States government designed to provide funding for companies just like
Spectral. The terms of the proposed financing are exceptionally attractive
and we look forward to securing a final approval on this financing and to
funding production of our Chita property this year. The proposed financing
that was contained in the term sheet was $167,500,000 USD, which represents
not just the resources needed to meet our contractual commitments, but also
the resources needed to begin large-scale production.
Our second acquisition in the Republic of Kazakhstan meets or exceeds the
gold potential of our Chita property. Not only does this property provide
us with a diversification of geographic and political risk, but also
conditions on this property are sufficiently favorable that we believe we
can extract gold from it within the next 12 months. We intend to apply for
funding from Ex-Im bank for development of the Kazakhstan property as well,
within 60 days or less. Together these two properties give Spectral a
bright future as a company well positioned to take advantage of the
long-term global demand for gold, in a decade where political and market
volatility seem to make gold a compelling choice for global investors.
