Graphit Kropfmühl AG strengthens the management board

Kropfmühl, Germany, 7 February 2011 --- The Supervisory Board of Graphit
Kropfmühl AG (DEUTSCHE BOERSE: 'GKR') appointed Diplom-Kaufmann Frank
Berger (business graduate) as a new member of the management board. Mr.
Berger assumes management responsibility for the finance sector and is in
charge of controlling, treasury, accounting, law and taxes, which so far
was provisionally managed by Chief Executive Officer Martin Ebeling in
addition to his responsibility for the graphite segment.
Mr. Berger has been working for AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. since
2010 and so far was responsible for the coordination of projects in the
field of business development in Europe and for raw materials and the
financing thereof.
After completing his studies of business administration (technical
orientation) at the Stuttgart
university, Mr. Berger for more than 20 years worked as Managing Director
in various international companies in the field of plant engineering and
construction, and as Chief Financial Officer for the financial management
of a manufacturer of high-quality plastics products for the automobile
industry.
