Impreglon goes 'Chrome free'
'Ropal shareholders' invest in Impreglon
18.02.2011: By acquiring a worldwide license for the patented 'ChromOptics
process' from Ropal and ordering a fully automatic robotic controlled
coating line for its new 6.000 sqm plant addition in Lüneburg Impreglon
became the first service company to go 'Chrome free'. To show their
confidence in the commercial value of the ChromOptics process a group of
major Ropal shareholders will participate in a capital increase and invest
2.4 million Euros in Impreglon.
Since the patented ChromOptics process has already been approved and
certified for a large number of applications the new coating line will be
utilized immediately at start-up in September 2011. Impreglon expects
environmentally friendly 'Chrome free' coatings to play an important role
in the future.
