IP REFORM: THE FUTURE HAS ARRIVED
GOAL to Organize the Global IP Conference and Exhibition in New York City this June to discuss the Future of Global IP Reforms
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, June 4, 2014: Implementation of the America Invents Act (AIA) is well under way. With such provisions as the expansion of the definition of prior art and creation of a first-to-file system, practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has changed significantly. Concurrently, the European Patent Office (EPO) introduced the new European Unified Patent Court this year to accompany the new EU Unitary Patent System.
In view of these recent developments, the Global Outsourcing Association of Lawyers (GOAL) is organizing the Global IP Conference and Exhibition in New York City on 18-19 June 2014. GOAL's Global IP Conferences create a global forum for lawyers and legal departments, legal process outsourcing professionals and government representatives to network, develop business and discuss trends, issues and opportunities related to legal process outsourcing.
