MEDISANA takes account of substantial growth: Management Board enlarged,
changes to the Supervisory Board
- Heinrich Komesker is transferring from the Supervisory Board to the
Management Board. As Technical Manager he will in future be in charge
of Research&Development, Product and Quality Management and
Production
- Heinz-Peter J. Specht has been appointed as a new member of the
Supervisory Board
Neuss, February 21, 2011 - MEDISANA AG (WKN: 549254) announces changes to
its Supervisory and Management Boards. In view of the substantial growth
recorded by the company and its increasingly international orientation, the
Management Board is being enlarged. With effect from January 1, 2011
Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Komesker has been appointed as the third member of the
Management Board.
Mr. Komesker has extensive international experience in production and
quality control, gained in management positions with prominent companies
such as Vorwerk, Krups, Moulinex, Bosch-Siemens and JK-Holding. Mr.
Komesker had previously been a member of the Supervisory Board of MEDISANA
AG since his election in 2006. In his last post he was active as Deputy
Chairman and therefore has an intimate knowledge of the business.
Management consultant Heinz-Peter J. Specht of Munich has been appointed as
a new member of the Supervisory Board. Mr. Specht served for almost 20
years as Managing Director at various companies, predominantly in the
Asia-Pacific area. In recent years, he held management positions at several
prominent listed companies before founding SPECHT CONSULTING INTL. in the
year 2000.
Following his appointment by the court, the Supervisory Board of MEDISANA
AG has confirmed Thies Goldberg as its Chairman and appointed Heinz-Peter
J. Specht as Deputy Chairman.
