Maher President and ChiefOperating Officer of the Company. Mr. Maher, who has been theCompany's Vice-President, Exploration for the past two years, willreport directly to the Board of Directors and will oversee allaspects of the company's operations. Accordingly, Mr. Robert J.Harrington has stepped down as Interim Managing Director and willcontinue as a valued member of the Board of Directors. The Boardthanks Mr. Harrington for his leadership during this managementtransition.Mr. Brian J. Maher is an economic geologist with over 30 years ofexperience in mineral exploration, mine development, underground mineproduction and the financial analysis of acquisition opportunities.Mr. Maher received his BA degree in 1980 from the California StateUniversity, Chico and his MSc degree (Economic Geology) from theColorado Sate University in 1983. Throughout his career Mr. Maher hasworked for Junior and Major mining companies including HochschildMining, Metallic Ventures Gold, Aur Resources, ASARCO Inc. andHomestake Mining. Mr. Maher will be based in Kodiak's Vancouveroffice.Mr. Maher will focus on executing a three point strategic plan tousher in a new era of growth for the company: traditional explorationat the Company's gold and uranium projects, moving the Hercules goldproject down the pathway toward development and seeking new assetswhich compliment the existing project portfolio and provide upsidefor rapid growth. The company has initiated a 15,000 metre diamonddrilling program that includes additional drilling at Hercules anddrill testing regional targets on its extensive Beardmore-Geraldtonland package. Results will be released as assays are received.Planning is underway at the West Millennium uranium project in theAthabasca basin for a second phase of diamond drilling as a follow-upto the successful 2009 winter drilling program. Field work is alsoplanned for the Company's newly acquired Mines Point gold project innorthern Manitoba.Geological information for the Company's gold projects has beenreviewed and approved by Robert B. Hawkins, Kodiak's Chief Geologist,who is a qualified person under the definitions established byNational Instrument 43-101. For the Energy Division, geologicalinformation has been reviewed and approved by Keith Metcalfe, ChiefGeologist-Energy Division, who is a qualified person under thedefinitions established by National Instrument 43-101.Kodiak is a well financed mineral exploration company with propertieslocated in Canada.
